On 29th November, 2017, Lions Clubs District 3231–A1 organized a Global Membership Team (GMT) seminar in Mumbai in the presence of Regional and Zonal Chairpersons, Presidents and Secretaries, along with micro cabinet members of the District. The event was chaired by Chief Guest and District Governor, Lion Pradip Parekh, while Past District Governor, Lion Rajesh Mehra was the key note speaker. Executive Director Ln. Dr. Neville Mehta and GMT Chief Coordinator, Lion Percy Master welcomed the gathering and emphasized the importance of membership in Lionism. Mentoring the event, Lion Daara Patel elucidated on the the world-wide motto of the lions, ‘We Serve’, and therefore highlighted the importance to induce new members especially youth with fresh ideas, as lions. Lion Percy Master expressed confidence in Lions accomplishing their target of recruiting new members and forming new clubs. Lion Dr. Neville Mehta emphasized how lions worked from their hearts, leading to their success. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Lion Cyrus Surti.
