India Under-19 Win World Cup 2018: An all-round team effort coupled with Manjot Kalra’s unbeaten 101 helped India Under-19 crush rivals Australia by 8 wickets to lift their Champion’s Cup, for the fourth time now – which also happens to be the most wins by any team. Batting first, Aussies were bundled out for 216 in 47.2 overs as Jonathan Merlo top scored with 76. Bowlers Ishan Porel, Shiva Singh, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Anukul Roy grabbed two wickets each. In reply, Manjot’s 101 off 102 deliveries (including eight fours and three sixes) and skipper Prithvi Shaw’s 29, Shubman Gill’s 31 and Harvik Desai not out on 47 brought home victory. The Man of the Series was India’s Shubman Gill while Manjot Kalra bagged the Man of the Match.

Virat Kohli’s Heroics Help Beat SA: Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s gritty knock of 160* along with spin twins Yuzvendra Chahal’s (4-46) and Kuldeep Yadav’s (4-23) helped team India win the third test match against South Africa, taking a 3-0 lead in the series. Batting first, India put up a mammoth 303-6 in 50 overs. Virat went on to get an unbeaten 160 in 159 balls which included 12 fours and two sixes. Shikhar Dhawan contributed 76. JP Duminy picked up 2-60 in his 10 overs. In reply, South Africa managed 179 in 40 overs. Virat Kohli won Man of the Match.
