Known as one of the leading philanthropic organisations that helps sustain the lives and livelihood of the underprivileged of our community, the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of India (ZTFI) recently held its annual Feed-A-Family ‘New Year Special’ program on August 11th, 2018.

ZTFI hosted a fun-filled eve with over 450 beneficiaries who thoroughly enjoyed games of Housie and sing-alongs. In addition to the usual monthly Food-grain Distributions, there was also the monthly ‘My Wish’ Lucky Draw, where three individuals won branded household items. The special celebrations were made extra special by ZTFI distributing delicious cupcakes to all beneficiaries, who were truly delighted! In addition to the monthly supplies and gifts and goodies, ZTFI-branded towels were also distributed to all as a New Year remembrance!

But the catch of the evening was the New Year Special Lucky Draw where two real-gold Asho Farohar pendants were given by generous ZTFI donors for the beneficiaries. Both winners were overwhelmed and very thankful with the pleasant surprise. And thus, ZTFI welcomed in yet another year on a note of smiles, fun and lots of laughter for its beneficiaries.

ZTFI’s monthly ‘Feed-A-Family’ provides our financially constrained community members with the necessary provisions to over 450  Parsi/Irani individuals, which caters to their daily requirements of a monthly ration with items including food supplies like rice, pulses, sugar, tea, as well as items for daily use like washing powder, soaps, aswell as cash.
