Nine-year-old Karishmah Meherjee, from Alexandra Girls’ English Institution, recently participated in ‘World Record India’ in Zigzag Skating Marathon in Pune and won the Gold Medal on 7th October, 2018. Having performed with a group of students from her school, the team collectively broke the record of skating in a zig-zag style for a period of 1 hour, without losing balance. Karishmah trains under coach Akbar Shaikh and dedicates this achievement to her parents for their constant support.
