Mehernosh Bamboat and Fareez Vasania did the Community proud in the Maharashtra State Level Athletic Championship that was held in Pune from 16^th to 18^th November, 2018. Making a mark for themselves on the track, Mehernosh secured Gold medals in the 100m and 200m race, each, in the 40+ category; while Fareez Vasania grabbed 3 Gold medals in Long Jump by covering a distance of 5.34 mts; Triple Jump covering 10.68 mts and High Jump by achieving 1.55 mts, in the 50+ category.

Earlier, Fareez had participated in the Masters District level Meet held at the University Stadium on 4^th November, 2018, and won a Gold in 100m track race within 13.60 sec in 50+ age category. Further, he won 2 Gold medals in Long Jump with a distance of 5.36mts and Triple Jump with a distance of 10.98mts.

Currently, both Mehernosh Bamboat and Fareez Vasana are gearing up to represent Maharashtra at the ‘Nationals Masters Athletic Championships 2019,’ scheduled in February next year, followed by the ‘21^st Asian Masters Athletic Championship’ to be held in Malaysia in 2019 .
