The Parsis of Ahmedabad hosted the ‘Parsi Food Festival’ at Sir Navroji Vakil Hall, Parsi Sanatorium Compound, on 19th and 20th January, 2019, to treat foodies with a variety of Parsi cuisine. Born out of passion for food, the two-day festival received a great response, with dishes in good demand including Patra Ni Machi, the traditional Dhansak, Russian Pattice and Laganu Custard and Sweet Jelly, all cooked on wood to maintain the authentic taste. The successful event was hosted by Malcum Bastwala (Mek Caterers), Rashna and Jahish Daruwalla, and Khushru and Pervin Doctor.
