The Humbandagi group of Bai Maneckbai N. Chenoy Agiary, Hyderabad, celebrated its fifteenth anniversary on 15th February, 2021. This group has been conducting Humbandagi every Monday, since 2007, without a break.
The Humbandagi was conducted at the Agiary by Er. Mehernosh Bharucha, who has been conducting the same for the past fifteen years. After the Humbandagi, Er. Bharucha gave a talk on the teachings of Zarathustra. This was followed by a game on famous Zoroastrian personalities/Saints conducted by Farida Antia.
Due to the pandemic, the group have been continuing to conduct the Humbandagi on-line, through ZOOM till date, thanks to the efforts of Faram Desai. The online event is attended by a good number of Zarthostis across India and the world.
An enjoyable evening concluded with attendees singing the Parsi Anthem – ‘Chaiye Hame Zarthushti’, followed by snacks, courtesy The People’s Co-operative Credit Society Ltd.
