Sam Balsara To Lead Indian Delegation To AdAsia ’23 In Seoul

Prominent media personality, Sam Balsara – the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Madison World and Madison Communications, has been accorded the prestigious privilege of leading the Indian Delegation to the ‘AdAsia’23’, which will be held from 24th to 26th October, 2023, in the Korean capital – Seoul. Sam Balsara is a veteran of many AdAsias, which is the property of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA).

In a media statement, Sam Balsara said, “The AdAsia is the biggest event in Asia for the communications industry. There is considerable interest now since the last AdAsia that Indians could go for, was six years ago in Bali. The AdAsia’23 is an unmissable event for marketers, media and advertising professionals. I am confident that we will have a sizable delegation from India.”

The Korean Advertising industry and the AdAsia 2023 Seoul Organising Committee have put in extraordinary efforts getting speakers from worldwide leading organisations, in addition to Korean organisations like Samsung and Hyundai. The delegates will also get to experience the Korean culture and entertainment including popular Korean music, dance and hit series.

Among his numerous prestigious professional capacities, Sam Balsara has presided as President of the Advertising Club Bombay (1989-1992), Chairman of the Advertising Standards Council of India (2000-1), President of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (2002-4), Chairman of Triple A (Advertising Agencies Association of India) Awards, and a member of the Board of Governors of the Advertising Standards Council of India. He has been honored by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) with its Lifetime Achievement Award, and has been inducted into the International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter Hall of Fame as well as the Kolkata AdClub Hall of Fame.

AFAA is an international association for the development and support of the advertising industry of Asia. It offers a wide range of services, platforms and resources dedicated for the purpose of planning, coordinating and implementing programmes to elevate the standards and viability of advertising at the Asian level.

The Advertising Council of India (ACI) is a distinguished Indian member of AFAA and has as its constituents, the Indian Society of Advertisers, Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation, Advertising Agencies Association of India, India Chapter of International Advertising Association and The Advertising Club.
