IASAP (Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals) recently elected a new governing council 2023-24 at its 52nd Annual General Meeting, which was recently held in Mumbai. The meeting commenced with a 2-minute silence in respect of Homai Mehta and other departed members. Newly elected members announced include Kashmira Gamadia – Immediate Past President; Vijayalaxmi Amin – President (Exec. Secretary – Tata Sustainability Group); Binaifer Daruwala – Vice-President and Hon. Treasurer; Rashna Ardesher – Honorary Secretary and Kashmira Pastakia – new Governing Council member.

Past President Moti Vazifdar inaugurated the IASAP Newsletter as its Editor and thanked members for their support. She informed that newsletters would only be sent via email as digital copies now on. The outgoing All-India President, Kashmira Gamadia was presented the Rolling Trophy and the Imm. Past President Badge by Edna Martis, who was herself presented a new badge of Past Pres. on completion of her 2-year tenure. Gamadia thanked the members in her address.

Incoming President, Vijayalaxmi Amin expressed her dedicated commitment towards the association. Binaifer Daruwala proposed the vote of thanks, with the respected mention of late founder Homai Mehta.
