The Gamadia Colony Welfare Association (GCWA) organised its annual Jashan ceremony on 2^nd June, 2024, at Cama Baug’s big otla. Performed by the colony’s young priests – Er. Urvaksh and Er. Jehan Raimalwala, the Jashan was well attended by over 200 residents and guests.

 Post the Jashan, an entertainment program, organised by members of Gamadia Colony and Summer Games Group, comprising talented dance and song performances, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Afreen Irani spoke about ‘Summer Games’ completing 20 years of entertaining children through games and activities conducted by Benaifer Mehta and its positive influence.

Special invitees – MLA and Cabinet Minister – Adv. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, alongside Ajay Patil (VP-Malabar Hill Vidhansabha) and Sachin Shelar (Aghadi Adhyaksh-Malabar Hill); BPP Chairman Viraf Mehta, President BJP Parsi Cell-South Mumbai – Rumy and Vahbiz Zarir; and Dorab Elavia – P & J Décor – were felicitated by the GCWA committee. A sumptuous, subsidised dinner catered by Jimmy Gadiwala concluded the function, which was ably organised by committee members Dolly Kotwal, Sanober Tampal, Benaifer Mehta, Freny Sadhri, Dinaz Raimalwala, Dogdau Mehta, Adil Bhesania, Neville Wadia, Cherag Italia and Firdaus Minocher.
