XYZ Foundation Holds 10th Leadership Camp

XYZ (Xtremely Young Zoroastrians) Foundation, the community’s leading non-profit organisation, which aims at the all-round, social and cultural development of the community’s tots and young adults, held its 10th Leadership Camp, from 1st to 3rd November, 2024, at the scenic Aamby Valley City. Marking a decade of bringing together young leaders, volunteers, and seniors from the XYZ community, the Camp was a memorable weekend filled with adventure, camaraderie, and creative experiences. Shahazad Enterprise provided support in organizing and logistical arrangements.

The first day kicked off with introductions and icebreaker activities followed by an exciting creative challenge and a spirited ‘Millennials vs Gen Z’ session where participants recreated a movie scene using Gen Z lingo. The day ended with a fun ‘I See XYZ Treasure Hunt’ reinforcing the spirit of teamwork and problem-solving, dinner and a group discussion.

Day 2 brought forth adventure, culture and competition commencing with activities where participants had to play a card game and manoeuvre an obstacle course with blind-folds; in addition to crossword solving, making trending reels and composing a Gujarati song for XYZ. This was followed by a ‘Being Parsi’ group discussion and the evening came alive with pool games and team-building exercises, ending with a spirited and talented ‘Gen Z vs. Millennials showdown.

The final day started with a ‘Funday Discussion’, brainstorming themes for the next year, followed by prize-distribution, where the ‘Badshah Bolts’ emerged victorious. Overall, the Leadership Camp highlighted healthy competition, underscoring the power of teamwork and gratitude, over a weekend of laughter, learning, and inspiration – embodying XYZ’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and strengthening bonds within the community.
