WZCC Mumbai Begins 2025 With New Leadership

The World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce (WZCC), Mumbai Chapter, commenced the new year with renewed commitment on fostering entrepreneurship under a dynamic new leadership, as declared in its first meeting of 2025, held on 11th January, 2025, where WZCC’s Global President – Captain Percy Master formally installed the new Chairperson – Daara B Patel, and his team comprising Burges Wania (Hon. Secretary), Merzi Daruwalla (Jt. Hon. Secretary), Percy Kaikobad (Treasurer), Veera Mundroina (Jt. Treasurer) and Pilloo Aga (Committee Member).

Extending best wishes to the new team, Captain Percy Master then shared WZCC’s plans for 2025. In his inaugural address as Chairperson, Daara Patel highlighted WZCC as a global platform dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation and professional growth in the Zarathushti community. He expressed his mission of bringing the community closer by fostering collaborations and inspiring youth engagement, budding entrepreneurs, encouraging women empowerment and promised a leadership delivering innovative strategies, integrity and transformative growth. He called for active participation from the Zoroastrian community, urging them to join WZCC in its mission, while reinforcing the chapter’s commitment to service, aimed at preserving and building the community’s rich heritage.

Percy Kaikobad introduced Keynote Speaker – Rohan Oberoi, CEO of Momentum India, as a young leading entrepreneur who shared a comprehensive presentation on ‘Risk Mitigation’, underscoring the critical role of safety and a proactive approach to risk management in everyday life. Pilloo Aga made a few key announcements and Burges Wania expressed gratitude in his vote of thanks, marking the conclusion of the meeting.
