Young Rathestars continues to make a meaningful impact through its dedicated outreach to Parsi Zoroastrian families in rural Gujarat. Their long-standing commitment to alleviating poverty extends beyond material aid, fostering deep connections with the communities they serve.
This year’s Grain Distribution initiative, led by community service stalwart – Arnavaz Mistry and supported by Homiyar Doctor, Shiraz Guard, Aspi Elavia, and Aspi Tantra, reached 20 remote villages from 4th – 7th February, 2025. Establishing a base camp in Ankleshwar, the team personally visited over 90 families, distributing essential supplies such as pulses, cereals, household items, bed sheets, blankets, napkins, towels, tea, sugar, and wool. Their hands-on approach ensures that aid reaches those who need it most while also providing emotional support to the elderly and underprivileged. Beyond food distribution, Young Rathestars extends its support through medical and educational aid, addressing both immediate and long-term community needs. Their efforts have become a source of hope for many, with families eagerly anticipating their visits each year.
The initiative has touched lives in villages including Borbatha, Mandvi, Ambapardi, Khambat, Varetpetia, Sathvav, Khodamba, Jakharda, Vankal, Boria, Zankhvav, Sanandhara, Madhi, Balda, Rajpipla, Vyara, Regama, Surali, Ankleshwar, Gandevi, and Nargol. By ensuring no Parsi Zoroastrian individual in need is left behind, Young Rathestars exemplifies true service, strengthening the bonds of community and compassion. The unwavering dedication of Young Rathestars continues to uplift underprivileged lives, leaving a lasting impact on generations to come.
