Fourteen of ZWAS’ (Zoroastrian Women’s Association of Surat) dynamic ladies put up a stellar performance on the occasion of World Water Day, on 22^nd March, 2025, at Surat’s Science Centre Amphitheater, as part of a NAYEKA 4.0 presentation, organised by Taal Group (in association with CIOFF India), beautifully blending art with awareness.

The act, which conveyed the crucial message of water conservation, in a witty and humorous style, was written and directed by Mahrukh Chichgar and choreographed by Mahazarin Variava. The talented cast included Mahrukh Chichgar, Perin Karanjia, Keshmira Palia, Dilnaz Besania, Mahazarin Variava, Binaz Mistry, Nilufer Bavaadam, Nazneen Dumasia, Aaftab Jokhi, Daisy Patel, Jasmin Mandlaywala, Anaita Mistry, Piloo Bhathena and Mahtab Bhatporia, alongside a special appearance by Aanosh Chichgar. The captivating performance on water conservation earned resounding applause from the enthralled audience, showcasing the profound impact of the performing arts in driving meaningful change.

The celebration was held as part of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan, inspired by CR Patil – Union Minister of Jal Shakti. Prominent dignitaries graced the occasion including Padmashri Yazdi Karanjia, Prem Sharda – former VC, VNSGU, Vijay Mevawala – President, SGCCI and others.
