Vispy Kharadi Sets New Guinness Record For Heaviest Weight Sustained On Human Body

The nation’s leading martial artist and strength athlete, Vispy Kharadi, made history yet again by securing his 16th Guinness World Record, on 12th February, 2025, in Italy. He now holds the world record for the Heaviest Weight Sustained on Human Body, where an astounding 1,819 kilograms (4010.2 pounds) was put on his body, a testament to his incredible strength, determination, and resilience.

Vispy’s immense strength was showcased to a global audience, solidifying his place as one of the world’s most elite martial artists and a symbol of India’s growing presence on the global stage, thus shattering the stereotype about Indian genetics not suited for extreme feats of physical strength. “I’ve always believed that the world looks at Indian genetics as being weaker than others, and I’m here to prove them wrong… India is a land of immense strength, resilience, and potential. This record is my way of showing that Indians are capable of feats of strength and endurance that surpass global expectations. Vispy shares the credit of this monumental achievement to the support provided by his mentor, decorated marital artist – Hanshi Mehul Vora and family, as also to his team members – Jamshed Bhatena, Gulam Malik and Yusuf Makasarwala, whose collective expertise and unwavering belief in Vispy’s vision proved instrumental in setting yet another Guinness World Record.
