‘Knowledgiate’, the annual in-house magazine of the Dadar Athornan Institute (DAI), which is being published since the past forty years, celebrated its Ruby anniversary with the release of a Special Postal Cover to commemorate the auspicious occasion, in a select function held at the Mumbai GPO, on 5^th December, 2024. The unique aspect of this cover is that it is the first ever 3D cover released by the GPO. The function was presided over by C D Kajrolkar, Deputy Director, Philately, Mumbai GPO, who also released the Special Cover. The cover has the logo and the cover of the first issue on the 3D image of the cover.

‘Knowledgiate’ was conceptualized and introduced by Er. Cyrus D. Sidhva and Er. Ramiyar P. Karanjia, with the help of other college students. Er. Sidhwa is also the Editor of the Knowledgiate since its inception. It comprises articles by students, parents, teachers and other experts in their respective fields.

Speaking on the occasion, Er. Cyrus D. Sidhva shared the humble beginnings of the magazine and its four-decade-long journey. Er. Dr. Ramiyar P. Karanjia spoke about the Dadar Athornan Institute, the Parsi Zoroastrians and the priest Institution. Sridevi Shenoy, Manager, Philately Bureau, praised the diligence of Er. Cyrus Sidhva and his willingness to always lend a helping hand in philately-related matters.

Also present at the function were senior philatelists – Gunvant Shah, Swapnil Sarnaik, Mandar Naik, alongside ex-Principal – Rekha Joshi. Mr and Mrs Anil Ahuja of Modern Printers, who have published all the issues of Knowlegiate since its inception and who have also printed this Special Postal Cover, were also present at the function.
