Sir JJ High Schools’ Alumni Association celebrated their annual get-together with an evening of prayers and fun on 20th May, 2017, with a jasan in honor of their benefactor and founder of the school Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, 1st Baronet, which was performed by ex-student, Er. Yazdi Dhalla, and his son. President of the Alumni Association, Dara Khodaiji welcomed the gathering and spoke of the common heritage they share of belonging to one of the oldest schools of India. Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy started the school for boys in 1849 and the girls’ school a year later, for the welfare of the community. An evening filled with games, songs, spot prizes and lots of reminiscing concluded with dinner and promises made to keep in touch!
