Even as Mumbai gears up for the community’s annual, premier Sports, Cultural and Talent Festival – WINGS’19, this November will witness even more new and innovative games and events for our go-getter and daredevil participants!

Just a month away from WINGS’19, the 4th edition of what is now confirmed as ‘the community’s largest sports and cultural event, the Wings Mega-Event, since its inception in 2016, has created an unprecedented platform for the community’s youth and the young-at-heart, to share their talents and get awarded for it. The concept has always been to introduce fresh ideas and events that are new and exciting.

From Paintball to ‘1 Vs 1 Football, WINGS has successfully pulled off large scale events inspired by international concepts. This year will be no different. The Wings team is back with some more happening and innovative concepts, which have already started filling up with Registrations. Here’s a sneak-peak into some of the events that have exclusively been offered by WINGS and some new ones this year, yet again, only at WINGS’19:

Paintball: With state-of-the-art equipment and a full-fledged arena, WINGS’19 promises you the most exciting Paintball experience of your life! With several bunkers and nearly 120 bullets at each team’s disposal, this event just can’t be missed by our paintball enthusiasts!

1 Vs 1 Football: There’s no team mates to blame in this event! It’s just you up against your Opponent! Played in a circular metal cage, WING presents this European concept, which is unavailable anywhere else. This 5-minute game can be heaven or hell, but it’s one of the most thrilling experiences you will ever have. Presented ‘free style’ like never before, you could embarrass your opponent, nutmeg away to glory, use the walls, use the cage… it’s all good… It’s okay if you don’t win, just don’t lose!

Foot Tennis: This 2-a-side event will make its debut this year at WINGS’19. It’s all about skill and control. With a tennis height net dividing the two teams, this game demands coordination and timing of the highest order. You can’t afford to take your eyes of the ball – not even for a second, in this one. A variation of the popular game, Sepak, Foot Tennis involves a narrower ground, a shorter net, a smaller ball, but a lot more thrills, chills and fun.

JAM (Just A Minute): Fun to host and even more fun to participate in, this is the only event that’s by far, most fun to watch! In JAM, you can say what you want as long as it’s grammatically correct. Oh yes, you also can’t dramatise or plagiarise or use short forms or full forms, and sometimes you can’t event use 4-letter words! All these restrictions make ‘Just A Minute’ a very long minute where every second matters more thank you think! If you think you speak well, wait till you JAM!!!

Midnight Treasure Hunt: In the middle of the night, imagine yourself scanning the streets of aapru Mumbai, to find your clues! Find out how well you know the city you’ve grown up in! The speed of your vehicle matters… but not as much as the speed of your ability to think on your feet! This November, take part in the hunt of your life, get yourself to be part of a Saturday night you will never forget!

Air Hockey: Whether you’re 7 or 70, everyone loves Air Hockey! WINGS’19 invites you to participate in a tournament for everybody! Smash that puck straight into the goal and win exciting prizes. This ‘1 vs 1’ game has already registered over 70 participants, making it potentially one of the largest individual games of the event!

FIFA: An event that took only an hour to register it’s 80 slots, FIFA is by far the most loved game at WINGS every year. Divided into 10 slots of 8 people each, only 1 from each slot will make it to the next round! With an auction at the end of the first round, WINGS’ FIFA gives you a chance to bid for the players of your choice, and play with a team customised as per your specifics. Only 10 out of 80 players make it to the auction! And only 1 of them wins the ultimate prize! Could that be YOU??

Telegames: WINGS’19 brings to you, for the very first time, the ‘All Parsi Telegames’!!! An adventure-sport vibe, Telegames will present its participants with obstacle courses and adventurous tasks. A test of your speed, flexibility, agility and accuracy, laced with oodles of fun, this is an event you don’t want to miss!!

In addition to these, WINGS’19 also offers you a hoard of other events and activities to participate in, all tweaked in terms of formats, to only add to the thrill of the game! These include Table Tennis, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Throwball, Volleyball (Direct and Indirect), Sepak and lots more!!!
