Zealous Zeshan Tops AS Level Exams

15-year-old, dynamic Zeshan Yashan Jokhi, from the Winchester School (Dubai, UAE), recently topped the AS Level exams, receiving ‘4 A’s – the maximum grades in these exams. Continuing his streak of academic brilliance, having topped the IGCSE examinations last year, Zeshan is currently studying in the ‘A’ Level, the thirteenth and last year of the School, where he has chosen Physics, Chemistry and Math for his majors.

Known to be meticulous, focused, research oriented and a good planner, Zeshan credits his mother Dilshad, for this achievement, who stood by him all through the preps and exams. After school, he plans on pursuing a Masters degree and a Doctorate, related to the field of Physics, with research in areas of Atomic and Nuclear Physics.

A good attendance record at school, participation in classroom activity, home learning, revisions and solving past ten years’ papers helped top the AS Level exams. Sharing the secret of his success with Parsi Times readers, Zeshan says, “I believe that success is the sum of small efforts done, day in and out, with full determination and perseverance.”
