Parsi Times is delighted to share the Navari ordainments of three of our dynamic, hard-working young boys – Er. Kylle Sharzad Sethna, Er. Thian Navroze Sanjana and Er. Xan Mahiyar Engineer.
Er. Kylle Sethna
Er. Kylle Sharzad Sethna was ordained Navar on 24th May, 2024 (Mah-Dae, Roj-Tir), at the Sorabji Thoothi Agairy (Walkeshwar, Mumbai) under the affectionate and able guidance of Er. Jehan Charna and Er. Mehernosh Unwalla.
Kylle completed his Navari bearing homage to his late great grandmother Osti Freny Keki Sethna, doing his supportive parents – Natasha and Er. Sharzad Sethna and family, very proud! 12-year-old Kylle is a student of St. Mary’s School and loves playing football, is an avid foodie and aspires to be an Astro Physicist when he grows up.
Er. Thian Sanjana
Er. Thian Navroze Sanjana was ordained Navar on 24th May, 2024, at the age of 12. Thian attained his Navari, under the watchful, loving care of Er. Jehan Charna and Er. Mehernosh Unwalla, at the Sorabji Toothi Agiary, dedicating the same to his very proud grandfather – Percy Captain.
An avid footballer having represented his school in interschool tournaments, Er. Thian studies at St. Mary’s School and aspires to also complete his Martab ordainment in the close future.
(Er. Thian and Er. Kylle are good school friends who have further cemented their bonds of brotherhood, having attained their Navar ordainments together.)
Er. Xan Engineer
11-year-old Er. Xan Mahiyar Engineer completed his Navar initiation into priesthood, on 20th May, 2024 (Dae Mahino, Adar Roj), performed by Er. Khushroo Kanga and Er. Varzavand H. Dadachanji, under the guidance of Er. Hormuz A. Dadachanji. The initiation was conducted at Vachaghandhy Agiary, in fond memory of Xan’s grandfather – late Adi Engineer. Gratitude is extended to all the Agiary support staff, especially to Dhunmai for her love and moral support, as also to Er. Rumi F. Panthaky, who helped with teaching prayers.
The son of proud parents, Naazneen and Mahiyar Engineer, Xan is a resident of Rustom Baug, studying in Class 7 at the St. Mary’s School.
