Pakistan’s renowned gynecologist, Dr. Zeryab Setna, has been awarded the Hilal-e-Imtiaz – one of Pakistan’s highest civilian honors, in recognition of his remarkable contributions to women’s health and his pioneering work in gynecology.

Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari, conferred the honour upon the Dr. Setna, honouring his outstanding impact in the field of medicine, on the occasion of Pakistan’s 78^th Independence Day, on 14^th August, 2024. The award will be formally presented to Dr. Zeryab in a ceremony, on 23^rd March, 2025.

As a leading Fertility Consultant and Obstetrician, over the years, Dr. Setna has made significant strides in improving patient care and advancing medical practices in Pakistan. His dedication and expertise have earned him widespread respect and admiration in the medical community.

Dr. Zeryab is the founding member of The Fertility Clinic and also serves as Medical Superintendent at The Lady Dufferin Hospital, in Karachi. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK, having completed his specialised training in the UK, where he served as a Consultant at St James’ Hospital, in Leeds, before returning to Pakistan. He specializes in infertility treatments, laparascopic surgery and high-risk obstetrics and possesses extensive experience in the field of infertility medicine, nationally and globally.
