The Zoroastrian Association of California (ZAC) celebrated its auspicious 50^th anniversary milestone, on 12^th October, 2024, with the theme: ‘Preserving Heritage, Inspiring Generations: Keepers of the Everlasting Flame’. The night sky came alive with twinkling stars as attendees gathered to commemorate a half-century of Zoroastrian community and culture.

The evening commenced with a sacred invocation led by Head Priest, Ervad Zarrir Bhandara, setting a spiritual tone for the festivities. Youth Coordinator – Daisy Pithawalla and Zane Commissariat hosted the evening with their charm, keeping audience engaged through a delightful program.

A heart-warming reunion of former ZAC Presidents, including current President Rooky Fitter, honored the individuals who shaped the organization’s journey. A captivating dance performance, featuring iconic Bollywood songs from 1974 to 2024, choreographed and performed by Danish Bhandara and her talented team, had the audience up on their feet. A nostalgic short film transported everyone back in time, reliving cherished memories.

A sumptuous dinner featuring traditional Zoroastrian delicacies by Xerxes Commissariat further delighted everyone. The night concluded with everyone on the dance floor swaying to the infectious beats of the live DJ Fusion band, featuring Nauzad Sadri and DJ Zubin Chichgar. And thus ended the celebration leaving all attendees on a high note, with a sense of joy, connection, and a renewed commitment to the Zoroastrian heritage.
