A new initiative by the Tata Mumbai Marathon, held on 19^th January, 2025, celebrated the dedication of long-time marathon runners with the launch of ‘The Legends Club’, honouring runners who have completed 10 or more full marathons (FMs) at the prestigious Mumbai event.

59-year-old Cyrus R. Palsetia was honoured for completing an impressive 15 FMs. He was felicitated by the legendary British long-distance runner, Mo Farah, who presented him with a medal and a certificate of recognition.

The Legends Club comprises two categories – ‘1 Star’ (for those who have completed 10 or more FMs); and ‘2 Stars’ (for those who have completed 15 or more). Cyrus Palsetia, who ran his 16th full marathon at the event, clocked in an impressive time of 05:57:32, bringing his total number of full marathons to 24. This new initiative by the Tata Mumbai Marathon celebrates the spirit of perseverance and acknowledges the incredible commitment of marathoners who continue to inspire others in the running community.
