The 71st East Bombay Zoroastrian Bharat Guide Group and the 16th East Bombay Zoroastrian Bharat Scout Group kicked off their annual summer camp from 26th April to 1st May, 2018 in Khopoli. Commencing at Monteria Resort, the campers were treated to a range of adventure activities like rifle shooting, archery, zip-lining, bridge crossing and swimming, before finally proceeding to the main campsite, Forganic Farm.

At this lush-green campsite, the campers learnt skills like drawing water from a well, identifying various plants and how vermicomposting activities are undertaken. They also followed stream and forest trails, indulged in fishing, river crossing, milking cows, sowing and watering seeds, etc.

On 29th May, 2018, the camp invited parents to observe the skills that children were honing at the camp. This concluded with all campers and parents being divided into teams of ten each to battle it out in a range of team games. A campfire was organized where all members put up an array of dance, songs and skit performances.

This year, the 71st East Bombay Zoroastrian Guide Group commemorates its Silver Jubilee Anniversary. Along with a small memento being presented to all campers, the all-Zoroastrian guide group will put up a Grand Concert on 9th June 2018 at the Sophia Bhabha Auditorium in Mumbai, and hopes to garner support and encouragement from the community to keep its training and nurturing activities, and its legacy going!
