There are twenty times as many smartphone users as there are hungry children. If each of us gives a little, we could make a difference. ‘ShareTheMeal’ is an app that helps donate to hungry children in war-torn, poor and famine-struck areas. The cost of the meal is just Rs. 30/- per day, per child. You just have to tap on the area (geography) where you wish to donate, and the amount, and the app helps you make the online payment and takes care of the rest. This app is the initiative of the World Food Program (wfp.org) of the United Nations (UN), which provides food and monitors the impact.
