Shubham Ranjane Gets Mumbai 5th T20 Win: A dominant all round show from Shubham Ranjane (3-17) with the ball and an unbeaten 30 off 17 balls helped Mumbai win a thrilling encounter of the last ball by three wickets at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Batting first, Bengal posted 153-4 in 20 overs as openers Shreevats Goswami smashed 43 off 28 deliveries; while Vivek Singh scored 56 off 45. Along with Shubham, Dhawal Kulkarni picked a wicket. In reply, Mumbai finished victorious with Shubham’s last ball hitting a four. Jay Bista (48), Aditya Tare (37 ) and skipper Surya Kumar Yadav (22) contributed to the win. With five wins out of five matches, the Khadoos Army Mumbaikars are on top of their game in this year’s Sayed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament.

India Draws With Afghanistan at FIFA: India drew their encounter 1-1 against Afghanistan after an injury time goal saved them an outright defeat during the FIFA World Cup Qualifier match in Tajikistan.
