Sindhu Out of Indonesia Masters: Star shuttler PV Sindhu lost 21-16, 16-21, 19-21 to Japan’s Sayaka Takahashi, crashing out of the Indonesia Masters Super 500 Badminton Tournament in the Women’s Singles second round. Though Sindhu clinched the first set easily, her opponent bounced back in the second set and further clinched the third against 5th seed Sindhu.
Saina Nehwal Out Of Thailand Masters: Ace badminton star, Saina Nehwal was knocked out of the Thailand Masters Super 300 Tournament in the first round. She was defeated by Denmark’s Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt 13-21, 21-17, 15-21 in Bangkok.

Premier League Results: 21st January 2020 saw Aston Villa won 2-1 V/s Watford, AFC Bournemouth defeated Brighton and Hove Albion 3-1, Southampton beat Crystal Palace 2-0, Everton and Newcastle United were involved in 2-2 draw, Manchester United won 1-0 with Sheffield United while Chelsea and Arsenal drew 2-2. Next day, Leicester City thrashed West Ham United 4-1, Tottenham Hotspur beat Norwich City 2-1 and Burnley overpowered Manchester United 2-0.

India Beats Aus In 3rd ODI, Wins Series: Fab batting by Man of the Match, Rohit Sharma (119) coupled with Man of the Series, Virat Kohli’s 89 and Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 44, helped India win the 3rd ODI against Australia, clinching the series 2-1. Batting first, Australia made 286-9 in 50 overs as Steve Smith top scored with 131 and Marnus Labuchagne contributed 54. For India, Shami was the pick of the bowlers snapping up 4-63. India chased the total comfortably 289-3, as Rohit smashed eight 4s and six maximums en-route his century. Kohli hit eight boundaries while Shreyas pelted six 4s and a 6 out of the park. India fought back brilliant thus winning the series after going down in the first ODI at the Wankhede Stadium.
Arzan Nagwaswalla Bowls Gujarat To Victory in Ranji Trophy 2019-20: Arzan Nagwaswalla’s ten-wicket match haul led Gujarat to a 110-run victory over Punjab in the sixth round at Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium, Valsad, in the Ranji Trophy 2019-20. Nagwaswalla finished with five for 50 — and match figures of 10 for 114 — to earn the Man-of-the-Match trophy.
