The Cawasjeee Byramjee Banaji Atash Behram celebrated its glorious 179th salgreh on 30th October, 2024, (Sarosh Roj, Tir Mahino – Kadimi), welcoming devotees with a beautiful rangoli at the entrance (made by the batiwallas), gorgeous garlands at the entrance gates and floral decorations honoring the photo frames of the Banaji Family members.
A Haven Geh Machi was performed by Er. Dinshaw D. Mullanferoze, followed by a Jashan ceremony at 10:00am, also led by Er. Mullanferoze, in the distinguished presence of Vada Dasturji Dr. Pheroze Kotwal. Ten priests conducted the Jashan, followed by a Humbandagi which was jointly performed by over 400 devotees praying together in one voice. Chairman (Retd.) Justice Shahrukh J. Kathawalla, alongside Trustees – Dr. Burjor Antia and Yezdi Tantra also graced the auspicious occasion.
All through the day, hundreds of devotees came to pay homage and seek blessings of the Atash Padshah. The entrance and the Atash Behram were illuminated at night, adding to the divine and majestic appearance of the Heritage Precinct.
