On 19th January, 2019, Raell Padamsee’s ACE Productions premiered ‘The Elton John & Whitney Houston Tribute Show’, at Tata Theatre, NCPA. A tribute show like no other, it paid homage to two of music’s greatest legends – Elton John and Whitney Houston. A wonderful evening filled with entertainment and a rocking audience who clapped and sang as four of Mumbai’s leading talents – Shahriyar Atai, Sarosh Nanavaty, Siddharth Meghani and Lisa Rodrigues sang popular hits including Candle in the Wind, Circle of Life, Sacrifice, I will always love you, I wanna Dance with somebody and many more. Shiamak Davar who was also present as a guest, sang a few notes of ‘Sacrifice’ much to a huge applause by the audience.
The show was directed by Karla Singh and dances were performed and choreographed by Chirag Agarrwal and his troupe. In Raell’s inimitable style, there was an interactive dynamic to the show as the brilliant on-stage RJ Advait Hazarat, interacted with the audience. Also seen enjoying the show were Consul General of Argentina – Alejandro Meyer, Cousul General of Italy – Stefania Costanza, Shiamak Davar, Riyaaz Makhani, Niraj and Minal Bajaj, and many more!

Says Raell Padamsee, “We grew up on all this great music, so I guess it runs in the blood! I only do Tribute shows or musicals with music I can relate to – I must absolutely love the music! We have such great talent in Bombay both in singing and training department. Our performers are trained by the best..  of course it all comes together with the Production, Design Lighting and Sound Design and the technical execution to knit it all together into a cohesive whole.”
