On the auspicious Roj Daepadin, Mah Dae (1385 Y.Z.), 5th June, 2016, SAZCOWAN (Salsette Zoroastrian Colony Welfare Association) organized a Dae Mahino Jashan for the residents in the community hall. The hall was packed and there was a delightful rendition of the Humbandagi after the Jashan. The evening then got into entertainment mode with housie and games where children won on-the-spot prizes. The XYZ group of Tehmurasp’s Titans performed a monajat, a fun Parsi song and a short play,‘The Creation Story of Zoroastrianism’, which delighted all.

SAZCWOAN also facilitated the top three scorers (10th Exams, 2015) from the colony – Urvaksh Sanjana (93.8%); Nazneen Pavri (90.6%); and Gover Irani (90.3%)- with cash prizes. The evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner buffet, marking the success of the event put together by Marazban Kodia, Sheriar Irani, Armaity Shroff, Kashmira Marolia, Eruch Wadia, Zubin Sanjana and Bhikhoo Katrak.
