Dr. Farokh Master Bestowed ‘Pioneer Of Homeopathy’ Title

Dr. Farokh Jamshed Master Ph.D. M.D. (Hom) was recently honoured with the title of ‘Pioneer Of Homeopathy in the 21st Century’ (Die Pioniere Der Homoopathie Im 21.jahrhundert), by the globally eminent German doctors and journalists – Dr. Heidi Brand and Dr. Anne Devillard. Dr. Farokh Master was one of the only twelve doctors from across the world to be selected for this honour. Organised by the prestigious German publishing house, Narayana Verlag, which organises yearly seminars inviting doctors globally who have achieved pathbreaking results in Homeopathy, the topics discussed this year included Cerebro-Vascular Accidents, Ischemic Heart Disease and Homeopathic Treatment of Coma. Dr. Farokh has been honoured thrice at these seminars by Narayana Verlag which publishes detailed interviews of these selected physicians. Amongst numerous awards and honors received, Dr. Master had also been bestowed the title of ‘Master of Homeopathy’ by the House of Lords, UK, in 2008 for his immense contribution to the science of Homeopathy.

Born in Bombay in 1957, Dr. Farokh has been successfully practicing and teaching homeopathy for over thirty-two years now. Initially an MBBS student (Patna Medical College) he was introduced by Dr. S R Wadia to Homoeopathy and has never looked back since. He studied Homeopathy and went on to practice and teach homeopathy in the Dept. of Medicine at Bombay Homoeopathic Medical College (Vile Parle, Mumbai). He received his PhD from Bombay University specialising in ‘Oncology and Homoeopathy’. He has been teaching homeopathy in over 25 countries globally and has written over 50 books of the science, with most being translated into 10 different global languages.

Speaking to Parsi Times, Dr. Farokh shares, “I basically started integrating Homeopathy in modern hospitals like Bombay Hospital, KEM Hospital, Wadia Children’s Hospital, Masina Hospital and many other allopathic institutions. I set up Homeopathy and Medical Departments for private sector concerns including Tatas, ACC, TOI, the India Navy, BEST, and more. Working in hospitals, I was able to treat some seriously advanced cases in pathology, in ICUs.”

Currently working on exploring the role of Homeopathy in Cancer management and palliative care, he adds, “I have been working on integrating Homeopathy support in patients suffering from cancer and other serious ailments including septicemia, or those on life support. Numerous allopaths refer cases to me and homeopathy has proven to be effective in many such cases. Sad thing is people turn to Homeopathy when they have exhausted all allopathic options and by then it’s usually a bit late to see the results that Homeopathy is capable of. There’s success and failure, and no doctor can truly give guarantees, but when one science stops working, another science can take over!”

Already operating ten charitable Homeopathy clinics which provide free services [located at Bombay Hospital; KEM Hospital; Bai Jerbai Wadia Children’s Hospital; Bai Jerbai Wadia Women’s Hospital; Parsi General Hospital; Bhai Joga Singh Gurudwara Homoeopathic Clinic (Sion); Guru Singh Sabha Homoeopathic Clinic (Khar); Kabirwadi Charitable Trust (Grant Road); Homoeopathic Charitable Clinic (Mulund); Seva Samarpan Trust (Mulund); Lion’s Club of Mulund; and Pannark Homoeopathic Foundation (Bangkok, Thailand)], Dr. Farokh plans to launch many more such charitable clinics to make this cure accessible for all.

His advice to those aspiring to be homeopaths, is, “Homeopathy is a science for ensuring holistic health, not just a symptom suppressant. It’s a massive body of study and is the right choice only those who are genuinely and passionately interested in natural sciences. Unfortunately, a lot of aspirants who were not able to secure a Medical seat, are misusing Homeopathy as a backdoor entry to become doctors. It’s a tough science, you need to commit to a lifelong study of this science to be able to practice it successfully.”
