Mr. Kersi Sethna

Parsi Junction

 Dear Sirs,

We refer to the Complaint received from Mr. Farhad Hozdar and others (“the Complainant”) vide email dated 24th May 2022 (in trailing).

The Parsi Junction issue dated 22nd May 2022 contains several denigrating statements and comments about a group of candidates opposed to the panel of five candidates you have been supporting and promoting throughout the campaign.

This is in breach of the Undertaking given by you to the Hon’ble Bombay High Court as also Clause 12 of the Code of Conduct.

The EC takes an extremely serious view of your conduct. You had been cautioned on an earlier occasion too for which you tendered an unconditional apology. You are directed to offer a public apology in the next issue. The slightest transgression in future will entail serious consequences.

 Sincerely,

Commodore Aspi Marker

Chief Election Commissioner
