On
10th May, 2024, 32 excited boys and girls, between 9 to 14 years of age, embarked on a one-day, fun weekend getaway to Roccia Adventure Park, organized by the Trustees of WZO Trusts. Spread across 24 acres dedicated to adventure activities, the adventure park (at Lakkadkot, near Navapur in Maharashtra) offered much enjoyment and thrills for the children.
Starting out early morn from Navsari’s Juna Thana circle, the children relished fun snacks for breakfast, en route to the destination. Commencing the day with prayers, the children were provided details and instructions about the adventure activities – which included Zip cycle, Zip line, Reverse bungee, Sky walk, Sling shot, Air rifle, Human gyro, etc. Vigilant volunteers ensured absolute safety of all the children.
Indoor games played post lunch included net cricket, archery, frolicking in water park and a rain dance. The day concluded with a magic show which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, followed by a scrumptious dinner. The children thanked the Trustees and volunteers of WZO Trusts, for making their day memorable and special thanks was conveyed to Dinshaw and Bachi Tamboly, for their support to organize this event.
