XYZ Rendezvous With Senior Citizens

The Xtremely Young Zoroastrians (XYZ) children from Dadar Parsi Colony, namely ‘Behram’s Battalion’ had an interactive session with the Senior Citizen Association on 27th August, 2016 at J B Vachha High School. Forty XYZs put up a Parsi skit along with some dance numbers, a game of housie and some ‘on the spot surprise games’ which were well received by the senior citizens, who requested them for a sequel next year too! The children had been practicing since the past one month to put up a spectacular show, which received reviews such as, ‘Good performance by the little kids’, ‘Children seemed so confident on stage’, ‘I wish we had such confidence at our age’ and many more!

“It’s amazing to see individual XYZ groups take on events themselves. I would like to congratulate the members, parents and especially the volunteers of Behram’s Battalion for organising a fantastic evening for the Senior Citizens of Dadar. I’m sure our other groups too will organise similar activities in their area as well.”
– Hoshaang Gotla,
Founder, XYZ

“It was such a delight for the BB team to entertain our senior citizens. To see smiles on their faces was absolutely priceless! All they need is your love and affection and each one of us should make it a point to spend quality time with them.”
