The Zoroastrian Trust Funds of India’s (ZTFI) held its Annual Fest’17 on February 11, 2017 of at Cama Baug, Mumbai. Comperes Kainaz Patel and Areesh Irani opened the event calling on stage Yasmin Mistry, Trustee – ZTFI, who presented a brief on the history, reach and a list of varied programmes conducted by ZTFI for our community. Maneck Engineer, Trustee – ZTFI also shared a few thoughts. The Chief Guest, Chairman of Bombay Parsi Punchayet, Yezdi Desai addressed the gathering, commending the efforts of Yasmin Mistry and Team ZTFI for the great social service work rendered to the community since 2009. BPP Trustees Kersi Randeria and Zarir Bhathena also addressed the gathering. All were later felicitated with flowers.

A live band, along with Viraf Daruwalla, got the evening rocking, with the crowd singing along to the tunes. Numerous Lucky Draw spot prizes were won, including the exciting ‘Best Traditional Dressed Contest’, judged by Anahita Desai and Arnavaz Mistry. Many couples participated, dressed in their Parsi finery, but the lucky were Sanaya and Farhad Mistry who got to take home a branded 32” LED TV! There were also 15 stalls selling various wares and services, along with media partner Parsi Times.

ZTFI beneficiaries, who over years have benefited from these programmes came on stage and appreciated the sincere and selfless dedication of Team ZTFI. The event benefited with a generous sponsorship from the Godrej Group. A sumptuous dinner was catered by Tanaz Godiwalla for all of the 900+ attendees. All in all, ZTFI’s Annual Fest’17 was a resounding accomplishment, thanks to the sponsor, donors, ZTFI well-wishers and most of all, a group of Community-loving individuals – ‘Team ZTFI!’
