Kind Philanthropic Gesture Brings ‘Laughter’ Once Again!

The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and World Zoroastrian Organisation (WZO) Trusts, along with producers and directors of the play, ‘Laughter In The House – 2’, have decided to provide four hundred free tickets to our community members who are theatre-enthusiasts but unable to afford tickets at the regular rates. An ode to legendary artist, Adi Marazban, the play will be held at NCPA on 8th October, 2017. The WZO Trusts will provide a list of such Zoroastrians and apportion a subsidized part of the expenses towards the price of tickets.

Speaking to Parsi Times, Chairman of WZO Trust Funds, Dinshaw Tamboly said, “It is very magnanimous of the NCPA and the cast and crew of ‘Laughter In The House – 2’, to think of those Zoroastrians who are unable to enjoy their show due to monetary constraints, and make it possible to cater to them through issuance of passes that would allow them gratis entry. Our sincere request to all the resource persons, is to stress upon the beneficiaries to ensure that passes are not wasted by them not turning up for the performance – it would be most unfair to keep empty seats in the auditorium and very disheartening for the performers.”

Community members who wish to participate in this kind and generous gesture, can directly contact WZO Trust Funds before 1st September, 2017, to help procure tickets and bring smiles and laughter onto the faces of our lesser privileged brethren.
