Top European band, Prague Queen paid a rocking tribute to Rock Legend Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the iconic band ‘Queen’, held last week, on the 5th and 6th of October, 2018, at Mumbai’s Rang Sharda auditorium in Bandra. Queen is a legendary and probably the world’s most popular Classic Rock band. And Prague Queen did live up to its deal in ensuring that the mercurial music from a generation ago would linger a while longer, regaling the generation of the nineties with a large dose of nostalgia and excitement.

The auditorium was packed and the audience just couldn’t get enough of the fab Queen music portrayed by Prague Queen! An excellent band that left the audience perpetually cheering and asking for more, was the toast of the evening. Vocalist, Jaroslav Bresky, who filled the rather large boots of Freddie Mercury, did a stellar job. His clothing —the signature all white attire of our original Freddie Mercury, the lead man of Queen, his movements and musical timing was a reasonable facsimile of the ‘real thing’ just as his singing! There was singing, clapping and dancing in the aisles especially when the band belted out the classic hits like ‘We Are The Champions’, ‘Radio Gaga’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, ‘I Want To Break Free’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, and many more from Queen’s long catalogue.

The Prague Queen Concert was organised by Fourth Dimension Media, and had a massive turn out of community members, thanks to Media Partner, Parsi Times. Shankar B, CEO, Fourth Dimension Media said, “We were absolutely thrilled to witness such a huge number of Parsis in the audience – having this wonderful community there made this concert ever more special in keeping with the fact that the great Freddie Mercury was also Parsi.
