Lotus Surgicals Pvt. Ltd. was recently awarded the ‘ET Best Healthcare Brand 2016’ by Economic Times (ET) in New Delhi, on June 27, 2016. This award was conferred in recognition of their outstanding performance in the Medical Device and Equipment (MDE) sector, across India.

Mehernosh Daruwalla, Founder and MD, Lotus Surgicals, received the award from Jagat Prakash Nadda, Honourable Minister for Health and Family Welfare; Dr. (Prof.) Jagdish Prasad, Directorate General of Health Services, and Dr. Sowmya Swaminathan, Secretary, Department of Health and Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, before a gathering of entrepreneurs, CEOs and eminent jury members.

Lotus has carved a niche for itself as a provider of high quality surgical products at affordable prices, to loyal surgeons pan India. Lotus credits this achievement to the faith and support of thousands of doctors towards their various products.

Mehernosh earlier has also been a recipient of ‘Frost and Sulliva’ award in 2013 and the ‘Jal Mistry award for Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2014.

Speaking with Parsi Times, Mehernosh said, “It is good to be recognized by the highest Authority which is the Health Ministry of India, for the hard work we have put in. Being a relatively new company, established only in 2006, I am grateful to Almighty for having achieved so much success in such a crucial industry.”
