Surat’s ‘Seth Pestonji Kalabhai Vakil Kadmi Atash Behram’ celebrated its 194th Anniversary on 18 October 2016, (Kadmi 1386 YZ). The celebrations commenced with a jasan ceremony at 10:00am led by Vada Dasturji of Surat, Dastoor Cyrus Noshirwan Dastoor. Around hundred humdins graced the occasion and were offered chasni. The celebrations concluded with a contributory lunch donated by Goolbai Vakil in memory of Minocheher Sorabkhan and late Pootlibai Sorabkhan.
