The Petit athletes proved their mettle in runs, jumps and throws at the recently held All Parsi Athletic Meet, on 4th and 5th February, 2017, which witnessed the girls of Bai Avabai Petit School sharing the overall championship with the J N Petit Boys School, Pune. The Under-14 team of the Bai Avabai Petit Girls’ High School brought home the Gold Cup, defeating several formidable opponents, through all the qualifying rounds. At an event organized for the counselling departments of schools of Mumbai by the Indian Association for School Mental Health, 19 prestigious schools participated of which Bai Avabai Petit School’s Counselling department was adjudged as ‘The Best School Counselling Initiative 2017’. These achievements are thanks to the efforts put in by the Physical Education coaches who encourage the girls to achieve their full potential.
