We all encounter spam messages daily, whether it is in the form of SMS or phone calls. There are ways of blocking spam and each operator has various methods to enable DND (Do Not Disturb) on your phone number. TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has come up with a wonderful app called – DND that helps you avoid Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC), telemarketing calls and SMS. It’s a simple process that allows you to register for DND service with your operator/service provider which not only blocks spam and allows specific transactional messages to come through, but also helps you file complaints for any message that may slip through!
