New Zealand Beats India In 3rd T20 To Win Series:  Man of the Match Colin Munro’s magnificent 72 off 40 balls helped New Zealand beat India by a mere four runs during the third T20 at Seddon Park, Hamilton. With this 2-1 win, the Kiwis clinched the series. Batting first, the Kiwis scored 212-4 in 20 overs. Man of the Series, Tim Seifert, contributed a vital 43 off 25 deliveries. Amongst Indian bowlers, Kuldeep Yadav grabbed 2-26 in his four over spell while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Khaleel Ahmed snapped up one wicket each. In reply, India came close to victory but lost at 208-6. Vijay Shankar contributed 43, skipper Rohit Sharma made 38. Dinesh Karthik and Krunal Pandya remained unbeaten on 33 and 26 respectively. Daryl Mitchell and Mitchell Santer snapped up two wickets each.

Sindhu Enters Quarters In Nationals: Top seed and Olympic silver medallist, PV Sindhu began her hunt for a third title with a victory at the 83rd Senior National Badminton Championships in Guwahati. She defeated Nagpur’s Malvika Bansod 21-11, 21-13, to enter the Quarter-final round.

Premier League Results: On 9th February, Manchester beat Fulham 3-0; Crystal Palace and West Ham United were involved in a 1-1 draw; Arsenal overpowered Huddersfield Town 2-1; Liverpool defeated AFC Bournemouth 3-0; Cardiff City won 2-1 V/s Southampton; Watford emerged victorious over Everton 1-0; and Burnley won 3-1 with Brighton and Hove Albion. The following day, Tottenham Hotspur beat Leicester City 3-1, while Manchester City thrashed Chelsea 6-0. 11th February saw Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United in a 1-1 draw.

Westbrook Sets New Triple-Double Record: Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook broke the 51-year-old NBA record when he achieved a triple-double in 10 back to back games. He broke the record in Thunders 120-111 win over Portland Trail Blazers with 21 points.
