A’bad’s Trust Holds Sheri nu Jaman

On 28 April, 2019 Ahmedabad’s Sunamai and Firoze Davar Charitable Trust held its first ‘Sheri nu Jaman’ at Parsi Sanitarium Grounds. Founded in 2017 by APP’s (Ahmedabad Parsi Panchayat) ex-trustee, Prof. Armaity Firoze Davar, in memory of her parents, Sunamai and the scholarly Prof. Firoze Davar, the Trust provides educational aid and support to needy children from Parsi and cosmopolitan families. In addition to educational support, the Trust has also mandated to hold an annual ‘Sheri nu Jaman’ for the humdins of Ahmedabad city. A well-attended Jashan was held in the evening, followed by a short presentation by officials of Enagic, who have launched a Medical device which churns out Kangen water known for its health benefits, being highly alkaline and ionized. A few users shared their real-life, practical experiences with the crowd. The officials patiently answered all queries from the 350-plus audience in detail.

Brig. Jahangir Anklesaria VSM (retd.), President – APP, gave the vote of thanks to the company officials for the demo and informed the crowd that APP had decided to buy one machine of Kangen water and provide its water to interested humdins, free of charge. He also lauded the efforts of Prof. Armaity Davar in initiating the Trust and looked forward to its growth and good work done by its Trustees. The day concluded with a vegetarian lunch.
