Farzan describes himself as a playful guy who loves sports – especially cricket and football and is a big fan of Lionel Messi. With a whopping 99.2% in his kitty, one may have pegged him out to be a rather studious student – but breaking that stereotype, Farzan loves being a ‘back-bencher’ and having a fun time with friends!

On being asked about how he went about preparing for his exams, he says, “I tried to be regular. Everyone – family, friends, school and tutors – played an important part in preparing me for the exams. Because of tuitions, I was unable to follow a time-table but I tried to respond well to my tutors’ and parents’ efforts, with the aim to putting in your best and forget about result. I continued being very active socially – I’ve always loved the presence of family and friends. The jokes, memorable incidents are a big boost to refresh the mind. My little sister, Binaisha, was a great fun diversion too. I was not involved much in social media as I believe that physical company is more important.” Farzan plans to choose the Science stream in college and pursue Automobile Engineering. When asked about his career ambitions, he says, “I wish to lay the foundation of a start-up.”

Elated parents, Hoshi and Meherangiz Bharucha, gushingly share that Farzan has always been an obedient and focused child. “We are very happy and thrilled with this type of his success. We used to encourage him in whichever subjects he chose. As a mother, I was always there for him.” Sharing a few words of wisdom for anxious parents whose children will be giving the Boards soon, Meherangiz adds, “Time management between school, tuition and study-time is most important. Let them do what they enjoy the most. Little breaks between studies rejuvenate them.”
