Lion Daara Patel Donates 10 Oxygen Concentrators To Mumbai Hospitals

Commending the efforts of Lion Daara B Patel for his yeoman services through the pandemic, Lions Clubs International has awarded 10 Oxygen Concentrators through the Office of Toronto Netralya Lions Club, Toronto, Canada, to enable him continue his exemplary work through the third Covid wave. These portable Oxygen Concentrators, providing pure, medical-grade oxygen, prove life-saving for patients suffering from COPD or other lung diseases. In addition to improving survival rates for respiratory conditions, these concentrators also enhance mental attentiveness, wellbeing and stamina.

Lion Daara Patel donated one concentrator each to Tarachand Bappa Hospital (Sion); Mehta Hospital (Navsari); Parsi Infirmary (Navsari); and Shanti Avedna Sadan (Mumbai); and two concentrators each to Mumbai’s B D Petit Parsee General Hospital; Masina Hospital and KEM Hospital.

Earlier, Lion Dr. Jung-Yul Choi, International President, Lions Clubs International, honoured Lion Daara B Patel with the prestigious International President Award (President’s Medal) for his services to the less privileged, the migrants as also the City and State Police Force, through the pandemic. Lion Daara was also instrumental in enabling covid vaccination for over 500 citizens. Lions Club Byculla, the patron club of Lion Daara Patel, is proud of his achievements and applauds his continuous dedication and endeavours through these challenging times, which have helped save many lives.
