2. Amazing Afrin!

Pune-resident – Afrin Turzen Bhamgara, from Mount Carmel Junior College, secured 91.33% in the HSC Boards (Arts stream), scoring 99% in History and IT. The 17-year old daughter of proud parents – Turzen and Firoza Bhamgara, Afrin plans on pursuing a B.Sc in Culinary Arts, being extremely passionate about cooking. She has won inter-college competitions in cooking and street plays, and enjoys painting, dancing and singing. She looks to becoming a chef and owning her own global chain of fine dining restaurants soon!

15-year-old Kiara Pakzad Jassawalla, from Mumbai’s Bombay Scottish School, notched up 94% in her ICSE Board exams. The Dadar Parsi colony resident wishes to pursue ‘Humanities’ and has a keen interest in pursuing Law as a profession in the future.

Jessica Dara Jijicawna, from Mumbai’s Alexandra School, scored 91.20% in the SSC Board exams. 16-year-old Jessica enjoys painting, skating, swimming, playing the guitar and baking. The daughter of overjoyed parents – Daisy and Dara Jijicawna – has opted for Arts stream in college.

Fardad Kayomars Kapadia, from Campion School, Mumbai, cleared the ICSE board examinations with 97.4%, securing 99% in Math and 98% in Computers. He has won prizes in various interschool elocution competitions and has been an active participant in dramatics. He enjoys playing football, basketball and music. He has opted for the Science stream, en route to a successful career in Engineering.

Hushrav Adil Fitter, from Maneckji Cooper School, Mumbai, secured 92.20% in the ICSE Board exams. The son of proud parents – Thrity and Adil Fitter; and grandson of Late Dhunjishah and Baktawar Fitter, as also Hutokshi and Mediomah Desai, Hushrav enjoys cycling, swimming and playing cricket. He has opted for the Commerce stream and looks to pursue a bright career in the field of Finance.
