Olpadwala Brothers Win Again

The Taekwondo champ brothers – Nekzaad and Shazaad Aspi Olpadwalla – have once again emerged winners at the SFA (School Federation Organisation) interschool competition, held on the 10th and 11th of December, 2019. Students of Sir Lady Engineer High School, while Nekzaad won the Silver medal for the Under-12 years in his weight category, Shazaad won the Bronze in the Under-12 years in his weight category.

The success of the young achievers is the culmination of the efforts and dedication by proud parents, Aspi and Mahafrin Olpadwala, who are elated at their sons’ achievements in doing their school and their community proud. Says Aspi Olpadwala, “My boys are my pride and I am proud to be their father. God bless them always!” Mahafrin has been instrumental to the success with her consistent support and initiative in ensuring that they don’t miss a single turn for their training and fitness sessions. School principal, Eric Elavia has also been encouraging by guiding them towards participating in the Takewando tournament. Both champs train under ace Taekwondo coach, Kiran Gawande.

The next stop for the Olpadwala brothers is now the ‘Mumbai Games’, where we hope that the shining duo will bring about as much pride with their talent and hard work, in the advanced forum. Here’s wishing them the very best!
