One of WZCC’s major priorities is to partner with other organizations to add value with resulting synergy. The WZCC Youth Wing requested a platform at the 7th World Zoroastrian Youth Congress and were given an entire day to present an interesting youth-oriented program.
WZCC Youth Director, Jehaan Kotwal along with Rashna Sanjana formed a LA WZCC Team to develop a program. On 3rd July, 2019, for the first time, the WZCC Youth Wing organized a full day at the 7th World Zoroastrian Youth Congress, held in LA. The day was packed with interactive and engaging talks by industry leaders – capturing full participation and attention of the 400 strong youth that attended the Congress. It comprised talks by Xerxes Wania, Cyrus Mistry, Tanaz Mody and Homa Dashtaki; a Boss Ladies’ Panel, a Speed Networking Session and a first first ever Zoroastrian Shark Tank proved to be the highlight, which saw five entrepreneurs presenting their businesses in front of five investors or ‘sharks’. The crowd was appreciative, interactive and engrossed in the businesses and sparked the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the youth.
